Episode 4 of MCTW is ready...

The next episode to release concludes the interview with married Mom of 4 sons, Mari Gray, PhD who is also a Professor of Education Leadership at California State East Bay and an advocate for reform of disproportionate discipline in CA schools.  In Part 1, we have a great conversation about starting off as a single mom, advice for new mothers, and how she talks to her African-American sons about racism.

Episode 4 - Part 2 delves deeper into the role that police currently play on public school campuses and discipline practices that unfairly impact black and brown children.  Learn about what every parent can do to advocate for all children to be safe as they learn on public school campuses. You won't want to miss it.

Mari mentions The Color of Law by Richard Rothstein and The Color of Compromise by Jemar Tisbe in this episode as important to this conversation.
