You are in for a treat! I get to interview JaNay Brown-Wood, PhD, a mom who is an educator, author and advocate for children. She is an Early Childhood Education professor at American River College in Sacramento. Her first children's book "Imani's Moon" is the winner of several awards including the NAESP Children's Book of the Year award. We talk about keeping it simple with balanced meals, raising lovers of books, family literacy practices and helping children who struggle with reading.
